December 27, 201114 yr Probably. You have to open the case up to do it properly (easy, just a couple of screws). December 27, 201114 yr Author Oh.Dang.Is there a way to do it just spraying it on the part of the shaft that sticks out?I wanted to do something that wouldn't void my warranty
December 28, 201114 yr Please I need help! The only real solution is to take the cover off the yoke and apply silicone lube. If you don't wish to do that, you are stuck with what you have. Danny

If you don't wish to do that, you are stuck with what you have.I just talked to my friend who has a pro flight yoke And he said that his pitch axis are NOT jerky so do I have a defective one?
December 29, 201114 yr I just talked to my friend who has a pro flight yokeAnd he said that his pitch axis are NOT jerky so do I have a defective one?You might have a defective one, indeed. Mine doesn't have a jerky motion. There is a slight detent, but, once you get out of the detent the motion smooth. Danny

Try Kenneth's mod.You should follow Kenneth's mod. Replaced the springs with rubberbands and it's really smooth now. January 11, 201214 yr I had the same problem. If you look at the underside of the shaft you should see a small hole filled with metal. There are 3 of these if you take the cover off the yoke. I found that the metal fillings were sticking out of these holes and by pushing the metal in with a screw driver things really smoothed out. Stephen Munn
