December 28, 201114 yr HiEvery time I load FSX and I tried to start a flight, the aircraft is at high altitude even being on the runway or stand. How is possible to begin a flight on the ground?harpsi
December 28, 201114 yr Set up a flight the way you want it.Save the flight with the Default Flight box checked. If FS doesn't start into the flight there is one line to change in your .cfg file.

Each time I start a flight, the aircraft starts on the right position but... on the air and not on the ground :harpsi

December 29, 201114 yr Hi,I am wondering how that option has anything to do with this issue? Trying to learn something new.
December 29, 201114 yr Author HiOf course I can save a flight and then begin with that flight, but then I would need to save all flights I am thinking on... Is there a possibility that when I choose for exame runway 06 at LEPA, the aircraft starts there and not on the runway but at 2000 feet for example?harpsi
December 29, 201114 yr Yes, just position your plane there and save your flight. Use slew to position or the Map in FS to position your plane.

December 29, 201114 yr If you select the aircraft and the airport - you should be on the ground, not in the air.Alt/World/Airport etc Bert
December 29, 201114 yr So you want to set up multiple situations and then you want FS to be able to figure out which one you want when you start FS?One old time method was to Associate saved flights with the FSX.exe and then you just clicked on the wanted flight and FS started with that flight.I also can't believe that it is that hard to start FS and then switch to the flight you want to fly at the time.
December 29, 201114 yr Author HiLet me explain: i start FS, I choose the location, for example cessna 172 at LEPA, runway 06L, and then FSX loads the scenery. So, after 1 minute of loading or so, the aircraft should be on runway 06L (starting point or holding point, depending on the afcad position) and should be ready for take off. Right? What I have is the aircraft ready for take off, on the right position but... at 1000 or 2000 feet. It happens with every flight I load, every time I start FS or every time I load another airport. I want to start on the ground an not on the air... Maybe now I have explained correctly what is happening.Thanksharpsi
December 30, 201114 yr Author When you select KSFO and the Active runway, you end up in the air?HiCorrect. I select airport, doesn´t matter which airport, and then FSX will load it. The aircraft comes always in the "right" position but on the air...harpsi
December 30, 201114 yr ..and you have selected "active runway"?Do you have custom AFCADs in the scenery where this problem is happening? Bert
