The N1& Speed Buttons on the MCP - she no work, Lucy!

I am still not sure about N1 / SPD mode problem. A screenshot of the panel (with MCP, PFD, and maybe upper center DU showing) would help.Now the C/O button and ALT intv button not working...I am not sure about C/O button as I dont think I have ever used it in the NGX, but lets try this:Set yourself up for a departure, with cruise altitude at least in upper teens, but leave MCP set for 10.000. Observe the aircraft climbing to 10.000ft in VNAV mode, then levelling off. Set some higher altitude, say, 15.000 and press ALT INTV button. Observe the reaction. Also try pressing VNAV button once or twice and observe the reaction. What does the plane do?
