Any Air New Zealand liveries available for 800 winglets

Featured Replies

I don't see Air New Zealand listed on liveries, now that ORBX has released NZSI where can I get a 737 that looks local?RegardsKen

Not that I know of, there is a 700 here at avsim.com though. You may have more luck finding an 800 in the qantas jet connect livery which does actually operate here in nz

Are there any other 737 operators that fly into NZ? I flew YSSY-NZQN-YSSY yesterday as a "cross the ditch" mission, but I used the splendid new Qantas livery available from the PMDG download area. I'd like to use some other liveries that are realistic for the are.

Qantas operate their NZ operation as Jetconnect and their livery is for practical purposes the same as the normal Qantas 738. Although Jetconnect is a subsidiary of Qantas the 738s used trans-Tasman are registered in NZ in the series ZK-ZQA through ZQH. The domestic arm of Qantas fly in NZ since 2010 as Jetstar and have a small fleet of A320-200 in the series VH-VQ...Air New Zealand fly only 737-300 aircraft which will be phased out by 2016 in favour of A320s. The upshot is you will have to make do with Jetconnect livery on the NGX for now.Andrew Vincent

Yep, Apart from JetConnect the following also operate NG 737s into NZ:Air Pacific, Air Vanuatu (both to Auckland) and Virgin Australia (formerly Pacific Blue, to Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton & Wellington)

Here ya go..... I tried to cover most of Oceania that PMDG hadn't done themselves. Only the ANZ is fictional , well semifictional, the hull and window layout of the 700 seems the same as the 300. I also chose to keep the Pacific Wave, just cause :) Thumbnail-4.jpgDownload http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=163554Air Pacific 700 and 800P1.jpgDownload 700 http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=163806Download 800 http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=163880Air VauatuAV1_1.jpgDownload http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=161629Pacific Blue 800Thumbnail-1.jpgDownload http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=163279And this one you'll see in Wellington often enoughThumbnail.jpgDownload http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=163240Happy New Year !

Oh Dean you just gotta, it's so far above any other addon it's not funny. With PMDG NGX and Orbx NZSI it's like FS11 to me :)

Hi John,What a cool New Year present : many thanks for the hours you put into creating these beautiful liveries and for sharing them with us ! I've been hoping since the NGX was released that someone would make the Air Pacific and Pacific Blue liveries, since I see them so often here in Auckland.Best wishes for the coming year to you & yours, too.

Cheers,
Emile Bax.
