You might be able to install it to a folder that you create on your desktop.Just direct the installer to that folder. Then open the folder and manually install it into FSX.Provided the installer doesnt look for the fs2004 exe.Obviosly CVEP can tell you how he did it.

That's what I did. I installed into the main FSX folder, which is what the installer does automatically. I couldn't seem to change that and browse for another destination folder. But that doesn't matter, just install it into FSX and copy the CRJ200 content from MSFX/Aircraft to MSFSX/Simobjects/Aircraft. That's all I did and to my surprise all systems seemed to work. Now the VC will look all funny and shiny. Just install one of the FSX official repaints that can be downloaded on Wilco's site and voilá. I am really enjoying this plane. I replaced the air file with Posky's CRJ200 air file and now it's seems to fly more realistically. Hope this also works for you, since W7 is a mystery. If it does, enjoy. Like I said I installed the original CRJ200 only package.

interesting you find the feelThere air file incorrect. realworld pilots have praised the -200's realism and correct behaivor.

and this brings up the last photo in your picture series. the CRJ up till very short finals will fly flat or have a slight nose down orientation. what you picture is an incorrect orientation for mid-finals (unless you are flying way to slow).--

what is there to add? all suggestions are there concerning correct install of the simulation and overcomming the issue described. the same information can be found seaching feelThere's forum.there is something about Paul's install of FSX and/or install fo the CRJ and/or win7 install that is the problem.i can type it all again (and again) -the first thing to look at ... install path win7/programs? (bad and double bad)UAC OFF (win7 does not play well with FS nor addons ... especially when above and UAC is on)winXP comptablity mode? (usually a bad choice)ALWAYS remember -
  • CRJ is an FS8 simulation
  • CRJ was desgined for winXP (see above)
  • feelThere has not had any involvement in the CRJ's development for FSX nor win7 nor VISTA.

http://www.feelthere.com/2005/crj.htmYour website is very, very, missleading..It clearly states ..''fsx'' in bright red lettering..I searched your forum...and google...and avsim..every single link that relating to the CRJ..( and links you posted too)..are dead. I searched the forum..search..''crj''...0 results.

Ok, I got half-way there (saw the shiny interior while in VC), yet the gauges were still missing. I have completely uninstalled both the FS2004 and the FSX versions (and started up FSX to ensure they weren't there anymore). Also there are no feelthere or WILCO files in my FSX folder. On my desktop are two .exe files for installing (CRJ_FSX_10b and CRJ_FS2004_10). So could you please give me a step-by-step process of how you got it to work (should I try the FS2004 version first, copy and replace all files, etc etc). Since you seem to be the ONLY person who has gotten this to work on a system similar to mine (FSX, WIN7, 64bit) I am going to rely on you. Also, I should have stated much earlier, I have turned off UAC (my main rig is only used for running FSX) and always right-click run as administrator.

it also reads -Pentium IV 1,4 GHz, 256MB RAM, 32MB Graphics, FS2004, Windows 2000 or XPFor support please contact Wilco Publishingand ... the link you are using is from 2005. go to www.feelthere.com and look at airplanes for FS9 & FSX you will not find the CRJ for sale.
every single link that relating to the CRJ..( and links you posted too)..are dead.
yes ... because feelThere discontinued formal support for the CRJ seven years ago and feelThere migrated to a new forum three years ago ... and the old forum was shut down over a year ago ...--

all good ... but -* FS install path?* confirm not installing FS nor addons in winXP mode?--

Did you install the FS2004 into a "temp" file and simply transfer the gauge to the FSX CRJ-200 panel?
I installed the FS2004 version into my main FSX folder (it went under MSFX/aircraft). Then when I did what CVEB stated (copy the folder over to MSFX/simobjects/aircraft), I obviously had a whole bunch of "Copy and Replace" messages pop up...I probably screwed the pooch on that one by clicking yes to all. It showed up on my aircraft selection screen under "Unknown", and when I loaded it up, it had the shiny VC, but gauges were still missing

Ok Scoob...That leaves alot of question...like why is that page still availible..Yes it links to wilco, but your name is all over it...never mind though..ill exit here.

I had no CRJ installed before I installed it. So I would uninstall your FSX purchase and try the old FS2004 download. It's the CRJ200 only package, that I downloaded 7 years ago. All should work.

Yes I was a litlle slow there, and only had 8 degrees of flaps. I actually think my approaches are a lot more flat now than with the feelthere airfile. The feelthere airfile lets you drop like a rock and then at 5 feet will start ballooning, but maybe that's how the real aircraft flies. I just found it too frustrating, and like it better this way.

Did you get it to work?

Nope, I am not too concerned at this moment either...I have the PMDG 737 in my near future that I am going to be working with
