I just bought and installed the FeelThere CRJ, and for whatever reason the panels on the CRJ-200 do not show up (either in 2D or VC). They display fine with the -700 and the -900. Looking through the WILCO FAQ, they state to start in 2D instead of VC, well that is a non-issue with me (I always start in 2D). I was wondering if anyone else has this aircraft and/or issue/solution. I know I could just mate the panel for the -200 to the -700, but as the -200 doesn't have autothrottle in the R/W I don't want to do that.

Go to FSXSimObjectsAirplanes and find the folder containing the CRJ ( in the wilco/Feelthere folder i guess)Find the file ''Panel'' ( for the 200) and see if the bitmaps are there. It may be a bad install/corrup file...did you DL it or disk?If the bitmaps are there click them, should open in paint,to see if they're corrupt. If they are and you downloaded it, try re-download/reinstall.If they look good, my next step would be to check the panel.cfg file.Just took a look at my feelthere install ( EMB175/195) and the 2d panel is called main.bmp, if that helps.

Luke,Thanks, I will take a look after the current flight I am on is complete...it will be a few hours away (from LEMD to KPHL). Thanks for the quick response!

Hope they will give you a discount on their new CRJ series that they just announced. The old version is very outdated.

Luke,Ok looking at my panel folder I have the following files:combined.bmpCRJ.dllcrjpedestal.bmplower_bare_256_v1.bmppanel.cfgthumbs.db (it is a Data Base File...don't honestly know the file extension for those)upper_bare_256_v1.bmpAll bitmap files open up in paint with no issues. I think I mis-spoke in the OP, the gauges are what fail to display (sorry, I get gauge and panel confused often). The below pictures show what I am looking at (again, this is only with the -200). I know this is in the VC, but the same holds true in the 2D and I do start up in 2D mode.2012-1-3_18-31-7-631.jpg2012-1-3_18-31-5-231.jpg2012-1-3_18-31-3-533.jpg

Being old and wilco doesnt mean it shouldnt work.Ok Paul, few more questions :Did you install it as admin? When you installed the CRJ, and opened fsx, did it ask you if you wanted to trust the guages?and did you click yes?If you said yes 3 times :) then go to fsxGuages and see if can find a cab file (.cab) that relates to wilco (it should be there..it contains the guages)..Unfortunatly heres were the brown hits the fan..Im sure i seen you post your rig somewhere..and im sure your on win7 64 bit?..Wilco doesnt support this plane with that operating system..I have sent Scoob from Wilco/Feelthere a PM regarding this thread.Hopefully he can help.I dont like to bare bad news but look here..your not alone. http://bit.ly/wTXBD9

Something isnt write Paul..there should be a cab file either in the panel folder or guages folder, and you have neither..therefore the panel cannot draw the guages from anywere..........Unless..( i dont own the plane so im guessing here ) the panel is useing the defualt crj guages. In the panel folder you'll have a .cfg file..open it (with notepad) and see if you have anything like this:[Window00]file_1024=bombardier_CRJ700_panel_background.bmp <<<--Could be diffrentfile_1024_night=bombardier_CRJ700_panel_background_night.bmp <<<---could be diffrentsize_mm=1024position=7visible=1ident=MAIN_PANELgauge00=Bombardier_CRJ_700!compass, 923, 0gauge01=Bombardier_CRJ_700!annunciator_panel_1, 139, 324gauge02=Bombardier_CRJ_700!autopilot, 421, 329gauge03=Bombardier_CRJ_700!annunciator_panel_2, 974, 326gauge04=Bombardier_CRJ_700!clock, 21, 492gauge05=Bombardier_CRJ_700!pfd_screen_bezel, 206, 478gauge06=Bombardier_CRJ_700!pfd, 221, 494, 222, 262 All these numbers could be diffrent.gauge07=Bombardier_CRJ_700!mfd_screen_bezel, 469, 478gauge08=Bombardier_CRJ_700!mfd, 484, 492, 260, 338gauge09=Bombardier_CRJ_700!efis_screen_bezel, 747, 430gauge10=Bombardier_CRJ_700!efis, 763, 446, 221, 252gauge11=Bombardier_CRJ_700!pfd_mfd_select_panel, 0, 579gauge26=SimIcons1024!ECU Icon, 270, 454gauge27=SimIcons1024!Overhead Icon, 292, 454gauge28=SimIcons1024!Kneeboard Icon, 314, 454gauge29=SimIcons1024!ATC Icon, 336, 454gauge30=SimIcons1024!Map Icon, 358, 454gauge31=SimIcons1024!GPS Icon, 380, 454gauge32=SimIcons1024!Radio Icon, 402, 454gauge33=SimIcons1024!Other Controls Icon, 424, 454gauge34=n_number_plaque!n_number_plaque, ,398,57,17I got to be honest though, there are tons of people with the exact same problems ( 200 dont work, the rest does)..but i cant find a solution anywhere online...all the links found to wilco forum refrenceing troubleshooting this prob are now dead links.I went to their forum and done a search - 0 results...( yet there are pages and pages on google about this prob) ( http://bit.ly/wTXBD9 )There is a member on here, named Scoob, he's the developer of this plane.I messaged him yesterday, and he's been online since, so he got the message, yet havnt said a peep...cheers then...exellent customer service..

I'm telling you its not the X64, its the Drivers.
Well dont be shy, care to enlighten us on how to fix the problem!?

Customer service indeed....I am about to scrap this as a bad buy and a lesson learned...don't buy WILCO products

PaulsSigApril2012Avsim.jpg

Indeed its a shame you had to find out this way , Paul.By purchasing it.I didnt want to sat it,(putting a dampner on your new purchase) but steer well, well, clear of wilco in the future. Before i buy anything, nonrefundable online, i have a good search around to see what others think, also checking the developers forum to see what people have to say there ( and the response they get) and also the review forum here on avsim. They'll give you good idea on whether to purchase or not.

Yea, live and learn! Ah well, maybe PMDG will make the CRJ (or Embraer family) sometime (*hint hint*)

PaulsSigApril2012Avsim.jpg

Funny, I just installed my CRJ200 from 2004 (I had to look for it on an old external hard disk) with a FSX repaint from their site and it works perfectlyin FSX. I also have windows 7 64. I really enjoy it. Even though landings are hard, super ground effect. Funny, like a free gift to myself. I've been doing the same with old FS9 sceneries, since I don't want to buy any more addons(bought a house).

Hmmm, how could I install this as an FS2004 (seeing as I don't have FS2004) and switching it to FSX? Any way to trick the system?
