Hi folksIn all the hype of bojotes tweaks a while back i installed the shader mod version 3.Reading around since it seems that this was not necessary since I have an nvidia card and the version 3 mod seemed more specific to ati cards.So I'm thinking I may revert back to version 2. There is the option to uninstall version 3 from my programs list in control panel.Question is - will this affect fsx? Do I need to do anything else to ensure fsx keeps working? I presume I need to modify my fsx config to flush the shader cache etc.I want to revert back to version 2 since fs water configurator doesn't work with mod version 3 or at least it didn't for me.ThanksTom

Just uninstall the mod and it should be fine. To flush the shader cache, just increment these numbers by 1:SHADER_CACHE_PRIMED_10=1693500672SHADER_CACHE_PRIMED=1693500672Or just delete the fsx.cfg file altogether and it'll create a fresh one on the next start.

Tom, the shader mod has a built-in uninstaller. It will leave your FSX exactly as it was before

Not sure why you think it's only for ATI cards? It does, make scenery look crisper, and really improves the look of the water. It makes it look less like tin foil! I have a Nividia GTX460 card., I do use REX for water though!
