January 5, 201214 yr Author Have tried everything --- sign on OK, virus protection OFF, nothing will let me download the zip file......HELP! --- any ideas? No probs with any other downloads. Thanks !!!! Bob Magill
January 5, 201214 yr For grins, just tried it using both IE9 and Firefox. Worked like a charm. If possible, try another browser...that's my dumb suggestion. If that doesn't work, take a screen shot of the error message and open a support ticket with PMDG. Also, verify that you are truly logged into PMDG by pulling up your purchase history. When I log on, I get an "invalid password" message, get sent to another log in page with a saved password, and can successfully log in from there. Kind of weird.EDIT: scratch my log in suggestion--evidently you don't need to be logged in to download the patch. Edited January 5, 201214 yr by jturie Jack Urie
January 5, 201214 yr Are you using Internet Explorer 9? If so look at the bottom of IE 9 when your trying to download and select save as? If you do not do this it is not going to download. IE9 is a pain and a bit different than IE 8. Edited January 5, 201214 yr by UAL115 Paul Deemer

IE9 is a pain and a bit different than IE 8.Yes, I get the "SAVE" selection box at the bottom and tried both SAVE and SAVE AS --- and I keep getting CANNOT BE SAVED error message.I have never had this problem before and download MANY files for various applications. Just wondering if anyone has had the same problem on this forum site before or some setting here I am not aware of ????Thanks!!! Bob Magill

I am going to try another browser -- IE9 is problematic (I am being kind).I still get the wierd error message. No joy. Will keep trying. Bob Magill

For other users, a caution, whatever IE9 was doing (or not doing) it was downloading a PARTIAL of the file and storing it. I am running a plain vanilla install of Windows 7/64 -- nothing special or unusual.Anyway, think I will retro my IE9 back to IE8 or just get rid of it totally. Thanks for comments and help. --- Bob :( Bob Magill
January 6, 201214 yr Not heard good things about IE9, although I don't have any problems with it...although I use FF 98% of the time and only use IE to connect to my client's network. Not that I wanted IE9, but I didn't pay attention to my Windows Update and evidently Billy Gates thinks that IE9 is a "critical" update.Glad you got sorted out. Jack Urie

January 6, 201214 yr Use Chrome - best browser out there if you ask me. Been using it for years now, love it.I may start doing so....FireFox is starting to become bloated and isn't much faster than IE. Chrome is blazing fast. Jack Urie
