The fact that it will be Games for Windows Live and very likely to be on the xbox 360 means it is the end of Flight Simulator as we knew it to be... from a legality standpoint FLIGHT is a console game now... it is no longer the franchise that we knew and loved.

Are you not aware of the HUGE "Indie" (Independent) producers of X-Box 360 games? Indie developers pay MS a $99/year license fee to access and use the SDK for X-Box 360.MS potentially have the same option for the Flight PC title, should they choose at some point to do so.
