Hi guys,After all what i´ve heared, the new nVidia divers will have an frame limiter inbuild. I thought to test that with the latest BETA driver. Could this driver give me some problems or should I expect to work like an WHQL?

I've been running the 290.53 Beta and the new 1.9.5.9 NV Inspector for almost a month. No problems to date. I think many of the issues are system specific so you won't know until you try it. If it doesn't work for you, go back to a driver that does.

I am using nVidia beta's from the long time and never experience any problems in FSX. You can always revert to WHQL in case of any issues (10 minutes of work at maximum)

I'm using the latest Nvid driver for the 580 along with the latest Inspector. It has proved fantastic with no problems whatsoever. Smoother and slightly better AA!

All right, guys, I´m out for loading the newest one. Update: Installed the latest Beta driver without any problem but nVidia Inspector 1.9.5.9 doesn´t show the FPS option. :Cry:

The FPS limiter isnt a function of the Nvidia driver.It is a function of Nvidia inspector. Do a search here and you will find how to set it up. Have you clicked the what looks like a controll tower button on NV insp?

All right, got it working. It seems that there is an problem with the German version of the CustomSettingNames_de-DE.xml. the Frane rate limiter entry is missing when I use the german file version. The english one is all right. Just in case someone has a similar problem.
