FSX performance not up to par (stutters)

Zach, I probably should have bitten the bullet when I installed the SSD and did a clean Windows 7 install. Oh well, I guess I know what I'll be doing for the next week or so. Thanks for your help. Have any thoughts on uninstalling each individual addon as opposed to just reformatting the FSX drive?

...Bufferpools=0 will definetly cause stutters and artifacts on most systems....
BP=0 is a completely stutter free experience on my system. Anything other than BP=0 is causing stuttering. YMMV

I had a similar situation, and after a lot of troubleshooting found the HD textures from REX were causing my stutters. Once I went to a non-HD texture, everything was back to normal. Just a thought to consider.

Graham, Thanks for the link. I'd like to think this will solve my problem. Regardless, I want to make sure it's set up correctly.

Curt, I've switched textures between REX and Activesky 2012 and back. i'm goping to take a look at my SSD setup and if that's not the culprit, I'll have to reinstall.
