HUD no projection

Featured Replies

Helloafter i reinstalled the 737NGX everything seems to work fine except the HUD. Every Display is working. But there is no projection at the HUD.Regardsschnaydar

Don't know if it's actually part of the HUD or not, but, at the top of the left seat there's this little projector. Click on it, and it should go down or up.

Thats not the problem. Even if the HUD is down there is no projection. I also already tried to adjust the brightness but that did not help either.

First go to the HGS panel on the center pedestal and make sure the CLR button is not illuminated. If is not and you still don't see anything there's a problem with your dll.xml file. You can use a forum search to find directions to fix it manually or you can attach that file to a support ticket and PMDG will fix it for you.

I had this issue, usually a full reinstall fixes it, but send a dll.xml ticket to save some time and frustration uninstalling then reinstalling the NGX.

@MrKen Good hint. I found the problem. It was due to the reason that i am flying with an normal useraccount. The installation has to be done as Administrator. So i had to copy the dll.xml from the Admin account to the user account.Cheersschnaydar

As above, I had the same issue, it was the dll.xml that needed fixing.
