January 30, 201214 yr I really hope they get this one right! I've been wanting a C90 since I knew what payware was.I also hope there's an analog option. January 30, 201214 yr Author I really hope they get this one right! I've been wanting a C90 since I knew what payware was.I also hope there's an analog option.Well it's mostly analog :)Bstolle is doin the FDE, so I'm sure it will be good.If you ever get a chance to check out his other FDE's, it will give you a good idea of his work...Heres a copy/paste of his sig...Flight Dynamics Designer Carenado C337, A36, PA46T, C90B, KFCS SportStar, Seabee, Milviz C310, T-38, F-15, F-86, B55free updates Carenado C185/B58/F33/V35/C208, rick piper DHC-1, flight replicas PA18/J3JB Buzz313th
January 30, 201214 yr I wish them luck, no one has done a PT-6 correctly yet. January 30, 201214 yr Author I wish them luck, no one has done a PT-6 correctly yet.Define correctly ;) Perfect, no. Close, maybe.Startup might be a hair off, but some of the flight/engine performance is close. Just a few that come to mind... Carenado PA-46, DA Cheyenne, The FS2004 Kingair forget the payware name, Realair TDuke and maybe some others. The only addon I have that has pretty much modeled the "Free Turbine" correctly from startup to shutdown has been DodoSim. Technically, I do believe a turbo shaft still falls under the classification of a "Free Turbine"?JB Edited January 30, 201214 yr by Buzz313th Buzz313th
January 30, 201214 yr I also hope there's an analog option.That's what I was hoping for but in its current state it reflects a common setup so I'd be fine with that. I wished they were doing a BE20 instead but this one works. It should be a bit faster than the Turbine Duke. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
January 30, 201214 yr Author Thank god it doesn't look like the inside of Beach's current production C90. http://www.hawkerbeechcraft.com/beechcraft/king_air_c90gtx/flight_deck_and_avionics.aspxI think is this might be the most analog we can hope for.. Buzz313th

January 30, 201214 yr I wish them luck, no one has done a PT-6 correctly yet.Fat chance. Carenado is not big on engine fidelity.

January 30, 201214 yr Don't know where the unrealistic part on the Malibus PT6 simulation is except for a 2sec 7% Ng overshoot during engine start.....
January 30, 201214 yr Don't know where the unrealistic part on the Malibus PT6 simulation is except for a 2sec 7% Ng overshoot during engine start.....can you hotstart it? What happens if you over torque/temp it? Edited January 30, 201214 yr by c402_cvs
January 30, 201214 yr I'm talking about realistic ops and not failure modeling. The PT6 is very rugged and overtorque & overtemp doesn't cause an immediate failure IRL.
