I would weigh in for Corsair here. I own an 800D which is a bit pricey relative to the ones listed but I am VERY pleased with ALL aspects of this case. Cable management is top notch, materials/build quality same, and even their customer service has been impressive. I pre-ordered a SATA III board for my hotswap bays and a USB 3.0 retrofit only to find the case came with despite Newegg listing differently. I got an RMA despite being beyond the 30-day limit and they covered shipping refund as well. I like the case so much it is tempting me to WC.

Corsair all the way! I actually just found out they released a couple new cases recently: http://www.vortez.ne...t_ces_2012.html. For $90, the 300R is a solid looking case!I'm really happy with my 650D, but I paid dearly for it and had to modify (cut out) the front fan grill.

The only thing I have against the Obsidian range is what I have heard about there brushed aluminium. I have heard it is impossible to not damage it and you cant fix it.

Heard that same thing also. It would be better if they did a mock brushed aluminium with some kind of composite.

ok ok, so I am swinging to the idea of Corsair....I to like the bigger names....and I have a thermaltake now.So, if I wanted a full-tower, which is what I have now, what would you suggest? FULL tower is what I wanna keep. :)

Go for the Corsair 800D :Big Grin:

not impressed with that one honestly. Drives are not turned 90-degrees to face the back, not much grommets for cabling, etc. This is one I am leaning toward now:http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=419876&CatId=1510

Wait wut? Not enough grommets? I think the 800D has 11 of them and then you link one that only has 5 I think.

you are right, but the 800D puts the drives straight-out to the backside, instead of rotating the mounts 90-degrees and pointing the cables toward the right side of the case, and the space for the cable management. So you have to make an immediate 90-degree turn with SATA cables. That is the reason I am avoiding the 800D really.See this photo:http://images.highspeedbackbone.net/SkuImages/gallery/large/C13-2514_01.jpgNotice behind the side-mounted fan; drives are facing rear. :(Actually watching the video I am wrong....that is ALL hidden because of the hot-swap drives in front.....hmmmmmmm. :)

wow, ok, the 800D is a VERY nice case.....but $250 is a bit rich for me. The TT case I referenced is only $150. WITH fan controllers, and the drives are turned 90-degrees, hiding the SATA cables as well.Maybe if someone will buy my old TT for $60, hint hint all :) lol It's in the classifieds. lol

Yeah I do agree with the drive bays. Its pretty much the reason I hate optical drives. If you weren't looking for a full tower I would recommend a 650D or 600T from corsair which have the drives facing to the right side of the case.

watch the video on the 800D on tigerdirect.....I also referenced the pictures on newegg.com for it; they SHIP the 800D with ANGLED SATA cables for the hot swaps, 4 of them. :) That makes my point a non-issue, but I still cant afford it. lol
