HiI have the nvidia inspector installed and have set the frame rate at 30fps, works fine in windowed mode but when I go into fullscreen the limiter stops working .Any suggestions ?Thanks

Use the 'pseudo_full_screen' mode. Works like a charm. Google for download link. Win-Key + F11 removes the window ID and all the trimmings. Looks like the full screen mode, runs like the windows mode. Slick. Free.Ray

My thought would be for you to start the sim in fiull screen. It certainly works for me at 3840 x 1024.

Yes, closing the sim will save it in whatever window mode you had it in, including dimensions. By not working, do you mean it's completely not working or the frame rates are surging past your 30 limit every now and then? I ask because that is typical behavior. I know my limit is adhered to regardless of windowed or fullscreen mode.

Hello Zach. yes it is working in full screen mode but is always above 30 fps, does not surge, just constantly higher, I suppose I should consider myself lucky in one respect with the PMDG !!

Yup - no prob - just open the fsx.cfg, scroll down to find the [Main] section, and replace the '0' with a '1'.

Yes it should. Don't know why it wouldn't. If I change mine to a '0' - it spawns in Windowed mode: if I put a '1' - it will spawn in full screen mode.Try Zach's method, as that should work - and it changes the '0' to a '1' in the cfg. I suppose it's possible there is another parameter somewhere which is affecting it.
