Urban Maxx Extreme

Featured Replies

Hello all, I am the guy behind UrbanMAXX. I am currently working on another relese called UrbanMaxx Extreme. This new release covers some issues that regular UM has, like tiling textures. All UM does is replace the urban textures in X-Plane to help populate the environment. Although not as promising as what I have seen with using Google Warehouse models, it does have a very positive effect in XPX and for users with lower hardware specifications it doesnt hurt framerates. In addition it has regional textures and global coverage....I am still debugging this release, but you can check it out here:http://maxx-xp.hiking-pa.com/?page_id=189I am looking for as much feedback prior to a release :)Best,John

Looks greate, but you should work on your website, that sucks

From your site;"I believe in the concept that every add-on is a work in progress, and on my forum I look forward to feedback. With that being said, your purchase of UrbanMAXX Extreme entitles you to all updates for the life cycle of the product."You might want to go back and read the Avsim Terms of Use again, about how they prohibit commercial members from using the forums as a means of advertising.

Huh OK well an admin can delete the post if he so chooses....Looking for feedback on a product doesn't constitue advertsing IMO, plus I do offer more freeware on Maxx XP anyway ....Ill admit I feel like I am on a web development website anyway with more comments on how bad my site is....

Not meaning to sound harsh or rude, but you're kidding right? He makes 1 small post and you, a commercial developer, is playing forum moderator/internet cop and pulling him up on it? The entire avsim forum has commercial developers posting news up of their products. If his post bothers you that much, perhaps use the report button next time so the appropriate people can address the issue properly.I'm sure the mods would have seen his post already and decided to let it go.
