Bojote cfg file

Recommended Posts

Good afternoon,I have one more question, hope someone could help me out. When do I have to change my cfg file ( Bojote tweak site ), directly after finishing the SP2 update process, or after my complete addon installations?Do I have to overwrite the existing cfg file via copy & paste function?Or shall I copy all the parameters of the new bojote cfg file and transfer it to the existing and insert them into the old fsx cfg file? Thanks in advance.Kind regards from Santiago de Chile. / un saludo cordialTom

Hello Tom,I believe it does not matter when you change your cfg file, but just in case, do it after your addons are complete. The only thing I believe the aircraft will change are the dll links in the cfg, but Bojote's tweak does not change that so it is okay.Copy and paste over the previous cfg is all that is needed. Just make sure FSX is not running when you are doing this.Cheers,Clem

No problems! Always glad to help. Remember to backup your fsx.cfg, just in case something unexplainable happens :) You can always rebuild it anyway, but that is a pain sometimes going through all the dlls again!Cheers,Clem

Actually, if you use the website everything is done automatically, so you don't have to copy/paste anything at all... :(

I believe you are given a download, and you have to manually place it to where it belongs. Correct me if I am wrong?

As far as I remember, no. It is automatically changed to the "new" .cfg. Worked absolute wonders for my FSX experience!

EHHmmmmm, I also believe to remember that you need to download the new .CFG file and manually overwrite the old one.
