ACARS - Events Page

Featured Replies

Hi!There is not an ACARS in the NGX. On the old PMDG there was an ACARS well the EVENT Page. Would it be possible to get this one in the NGX, too? It's a very nice feature to see the times without other extern tools.PS: I have used the search function, but could not find an answer.

Which things can you see on the EVENT Page?

The blocktimes etc. OFF, OUT, IN, ON times.

I asked for this to be added awhile back. I'm not sure if anyone took notice, mainly for the block times. Was just good to know your time(s) in the format it presented it in.

FYI- ACARS functionality Is typically decided by the operator and not Boeing itsself. For example the airline I work with has contracted its ACARS functionality between our aircraft and our computer systems to a company called Aerodata. In the aircraft this includes PERF DATA, Takeoff and landing performance calculator, and ACARS reporting and messaging functionality. In our OPS centre Aerodata's various software programs are the link we use to communicate with our aircraft via ACARS, as well as Electronic weight and balance, calculate aircraft performance, and a real time link to the aircraft maintaince. Its possible that other carriers use this same system. But there is no standard ACARS system. Before the aircrafts delivery Aerodata's software gets loaded in the FMC by Boeing from our request, so we can dispatch the delivery flight. Every airline is different. Our company flight opertations manual looks quite different from boeings when you look at FMC functionality.

I am hoping for someone to be able to integrate Hoppie's ACARS network into the NGX when SDK is out....
