The temporary closing of the flight forum was the result of just the simple fact that there was a titanic amount of crap, pettiness, NDA violations and general abuse going on there! Nothing really constructive or useful was being posted.

+1 Exactly. A FORUM is a place where people can exchange ideas and have constructive conversations and disagreements; not attacking someone's intelligence because of simply having a differing opinion.
