Is this addon compatible with NGX?

Gonzalo,No - the particular sounds they were using in that video wouldn't be realistic on an airliner anyway - you don't actually hear swirling wind noises or tire squeals on touchdown in a big jet like that. A2A makes great stuff (huge fan of their AccuSim products) but this sound thing isn't right at all for an airliner honestly. The NGX's sounds were all recorded in the real airplane and all the pilots on the test team were happy with them. The wind sound in a jet like this is just a sheet of white noise at a certain frequency basically - the intensity and pitch changes with airspeed and we did model this in the NGX. There's little to no sound from the actual wheels touching down on landing, especially when the main gear are 100+ feet behind you. I've actually sat and watched airliners land from the observation spot at KLAS next to the 25L touchdown zone and you barely hear tire squeal even from outside - it's very slight.

This isn't the case though with G/A's! :(

It works, but you can adjust the sounds and such. They tested it with NGX and other PMDG and there are no problems software wise other than posted above, sounds being not right.Works great in the JS41 though!

I'm enjoying it. You can turn the sounds on and off, adjust the volume, etc. So you don't have to listen to unrealistic sounds while you can still take advantage of other things it does.

In the NGX....pretty much all of them, this is why I havn't boughten it yet, theNGX is the only thing I fly.

It might be a coincidence, but I've flown 4 flight since yesterday, 2 with and 2 without. Both flights with accusim had a CTD, both without did not. I have flown it with a whole host of my other aircraft and had no issues, so it might not coexist alongside the NGX's advanced code very well. Again, I'm not definite this caused it, but a strong coincidence as none of my other flight parameters changed much (NGX Westjet 700, touring Canada)
