February 25, 201214 yr I'd rather have moving wipers then a window that opens.Be thankful you can open every door on the plane! And moving airstairs.Only reason you would want to open the cockpit window is to get some windex out and start cleaning the outside.While you're at it, please use that windex on my CDUs and DUs...they have spots and fingerprints all over them. February 25, 201214 yr As stated, the animation limit is maxed in the NGX. Would have to give up more important animations to have animated cockpit windows. Shane Gavin

It adds to my immersion while flying. Opening the cockpit window doesn't do much for me. "Yay. I'm on the ground staring at my NGX. Doing nothing... sure wish that window opened." :mellow:I'd sing a different song if unsecured windows were modeled and the sim got really noisy when the window flew open.
