Tried to install on work computer just to check it out and I get an error..."Microsoft flight cannot run because the shader version of your video card...." blah, blah, blah.It there an software fix/upgrade for this or is it a hardware limitation of my video card?Brian

i had same error on Windows XP x64.. gcard ATI 5850, works well in W7 however..

The specs* for that card's shader capabilities isn't promising at all:

Full DirectX 9.0 Support (Vertex Shader v2.0 and Pixel Shader v2.0)

Well, I loaded it onto my laptop, which doesn't have shader at all. The sim is a slide show,even at low settings. FSX runs OK at medium settings. So I guess I'll have to put it on my real computer.

Have Got he same problems with GTX580 SLI latest drivers.Not able to run the program.Anyhow after looking trying foud follwing issue :Color resolution must be set on 32bit.On my system it was set to 16bit , changed to 32bit and the problem was solved.Maybe i can help somebody with this post.Regards
