March 1, 201214 yr So a few weeks ago I posted a topic asking if replacing the case would fix my fan issue and I decided to contact corsair after posting that thread. A few replies later and not knowing the solution they asked me to rma the case. I thought about it for a few days and then soon called to do an advanced rma after already submitting the RMA and then the unthinkable happened. The lady I called told me they(Corsair) would just send me a new case out and I don't have to return my old one. I mean I could have heard her wrong but I did receive the new case today and she is looking mighty fine :)Now I am about 99.999% sure this will fix my problem and hope to transfer all my components into the NEW case very soon. So what to do with this "old" 600T hmmm....... What are your customer support stories? Good or bad.
March 1, 201214 yr Author What was the issue with the 600T? I'll take it! :Big Grin:I think the fan controller is screwed up. The fans were not staying at a constant speed and it was really annoying. Plugging the fans into the motherboard seems to have fixed it. Crazy that such a small problem got me a new case. I'd hate to throw this very nice case away even with its minor defect.
March 1, 201214 yr Great story, bet they just got a customer for life!My best customer service story was with Acura. I had a 3.0 CL many many years ago that the tranny went bad on... Car went to Acura, and they told me that the car had 55,000 miles, was out of warranty, and $1800 in tranny damage was all my fault and my responsibility. Fearing there was nothing I could do I decided to go to Acura Corporate. After a lot of back and forth I finally told them I don't care if the car had 155,000 miles on it the transmission should never drop out of an Acura and they should stand behind their product! I got a call at close of business the next day to come and pick up the car and that Acura had paid for everything. Apparently they WERE willing to stand behind their product!Since then I traded the 3.0 CL in for a 3.2CL-S six speed which was traded in for a 2008 3.5L TL Type S which was traded in for a 2010 TL-SHAWD that I currently drive until the new NSX becomes reality and then I can officially have my midlife crisis. But Acura eating that $1800 in service has got them 3 more sales to date worth $125k in cars!!! Amazing what good customer service and going above and beyond can do for a company! Good case crap fan controller, I replaced mine with an aftermarket one. Andrew Dixon"If common sense was compulsory everyone would have it but I am afraid this is not the case"
March 1, 201214 yr Wow, awesome Taylor. I mean, brands like Noctua do things like that too... but this is a $170 case + shipping fees we're talking here! and they won't even take the old one backSimply amazing. Very happy for you man!My last experience with an RMA is not so good. One of the fans in my GTX480 started to make a crackling sound so sent it to the store. 1 month later I got the card back, "repaired"Actually it came with the bracket all bent and probably some damaged pins cause it run at x1 instead of x16 no matter what, so had to RMA it again  Oh, breaking news! at x1 the PCIe bottleneck is massive Edited March 1, 201214 yr by dazz

March 1, 201214 yr Taylor-I'll take that POS ... :-)@Darrio-Who put your videocard together?Gigabyte, but I don't know if they repaired it themselves or if it was the wholesaler. Whoever it was, It took them long enough to get it right the first time around :Waiting:
March 1, 201214 yr Author My fan controller on the same case burnt out after a coupe of months. Good case crap fan controller, I replaced mine with an aftermarket one.Yea I agree. I think Corsair got a little happy allowing 4 fans to be connected. I heard that the special white addition has a fan controller than can take higher power fans. I've only had my case since January 7th 2012 so not even 2 monthsWow, awesome Taylor. I mean, brands like Noctua do things like that too... but this is a $170 case + shipping fees we're talking here! and they won't even take the old one backSimply amazing. Very happy for you man!I know, that's whats so shocking to me. They just sent me a 160$ case plus shipping is insane. I sort of think that they may be having a problem with the fan controller on this case and are being pretty nice about RMAing this case. Taylor-I'll take that POS ... :-)LOL Well I'll consider selling it if I get some serious offers lol Edited March 1, 201214 yr by thefsxflyer
