March 2, 201214 yr I understand what you are saying Stephen. In a sense (let me argue) it is... (demonstrated above). When the face of a large Flight Sim Add-on Company now directly competing with / for MS FLIGHT dollars, comes in and takes a few pot shots at the competition...Posts like the one's from the Cassis when he makes a valid point I think are totally within the realm of "fair play".I mean... "what's good for the goose is good for the gander".I already mentioned the fact that the "original" Maule in the Standard Edition of FSX was totally missing panel gauges and one could see the pavement... why could not Mathijs have said something like that instead. "Well at least you don't see the pavement in this release of the Maule". Would have been a funny quip from him. With all due respect to Mathijs, I find it a little too much that he's in here making off the cuff remarks that cast aspersions on the value of FLIGHT. Aerosoft's products, just like FLIGHT, will stand or fall based on their own merit / value. No need for those kind of comments above. We love much of the Aerosoft stuff... and we can figure out for ourselves what to do with FLIGHT.
March 5, 201214 yr It seems to me that MS Flight is an acceptable game on its own, but it's the 11th generation of a series that has up until now built upon the previous release. DisapointingIt's the first generation of Flight. The Product Name is Microsoft Flight and my Product Version is 1.0.0.30015.It isn't FS11 (and waasn't intended to be), so comparing the two is an apples and pears situation. Gerry Howard
