March 6, 201214 yr No one has yet mentioned, "Where's 2D panel support?"Remember that argument where people just had to have 2D panel support (they were mad FSX didn't support 2D side views). With flight 2D is totally a thing of the past...I just thought about this ducking back into FS9 tonight. Flight is the first version to have totally done away with this old concept. March 6, 201214 yr It was debated/pointed-out/requested over at the beta many, many times. But unfortunately no answers.( most of us now have 1 or 2 monitors just standing by) Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.

The anger and angst over the 2D panels was SO bad back then I thought that it must be near suicidal to be a moderator. Old friends were at each others throats. Heck I remember how hot some got because they did not want to change from FS2002. For a time I just stayed away from the forums because I could not stand the anger, and still can't.Kind regards,
March 6, 201214 yr Commercial Member Lets just say, there is a small unmarked grave somewere in Redmond. One that has no depth. One that the dev's shed no tears over. Kevin Miller 3D Artist and developer
March 6, 201214 yr It doesn't support my serial mouse, my old Thrustmaster 15-pin joystick (ok, so I can't plug it in: that's MS fault!), and it doesn't support Windows 3.11 running on my 386SX! They don't even support their own OS! This is such a rip off! I wish I hadn't spent the $0 I spent downloading this free program!I'm going straight back to FS4! Flight is the first version to have totally done away with this old concept. At long last.small unmarked grave somewere in Redmond.Even that is too much; in a bag with a brick, thrown into a stagnant reservoir at midnight on a moonless night would be more appropriate.I quite like the 'info ribbon' across the top, I used to like the old 'mini-panel' that was in FS2002 (I think)
March 6, 201214 yr Well, someone doesn't like 2d panels...Although i always fly vc, a detachable 2d panel with instruments would be nice for me and everyone else who wants to use a second monitor for the gauges. March 6, 201214 yr No ones complaining about 2D panels yet because they aren't needed. If and when the big airliners are released, I think the argument will resurface. Steve Smith i7-2600K - GTX580 - 8GB ram
