March 6, 201214 yr I'd like it if, when a host quits a MP session if the host position would allocate to someone else who is in the room rather than scattering everyone into nowhere. . .10 players doing a coordinated activity and 11th host quits and everyone disappears.-1 Edited March 6, 201214 yr by Rush1169
March 6, 201214 yr Author So, you join a multiplayer session and maybe 10 of you decide to fly in formation from X to Y. Thirty minutes into your flight, the person who 'created' the mutiplayer session has his boss walk in so he quits the game. The result is the 10 of us flying together all disappear without warning or opportunity to 'take over' the host spot and keep the session alive.
March 6, 201214 yr Yeah.. `host migration' feature is definitely needed.. Or better yet a dedicated server implementation. Thanks for the explanation.Kind regards,

March 6, 201214 yr Oh gosh, now I feel really guilty as sometimes I am flying and people join my session and when I am done I just quit, didnt realise it could affect anyone else. Will change my multiplayer settings immediately so this doesnt happen again. If anyone has been in a session with me CKUKMALE and I have cut you off, so to speak, I do appologise.Craig

Thanks for the explanation.Kind regards,You can also go in just as an observer, and simply watch other people flying. I have actually seen crowds of people, with the most experienced acting as an "instructor" and guiding people through maneuvers and instruments. As far as flight Sims, its like nothing I have ever seen (never did multi before) and it creates quite a "community" feeling. March 6, 201214 yr Commercial Member I have also seen that. I remember one time having fun in the beta doing a "canyon run" in the Stearman. I got done and pulled up and 3 people said "Wow, nice flying!". It seems they saw me going at it, and watched from my perspective. Kevin Miller 3D Artist and developer
