March 8, 201214 yr Hey...there is a sim for that. I had it back when I was in Jr. High...http://en.wikipedia....Space_SimulatorI can't remember very much of it, nor did I really know what I was doing at the time - but I really did like the concept.Yes, Space Simulator was one of the works of the great Bruce Artwick, the true father of Flight Simulator.If you like simulating space flight, at present probably the best solution is Orbiter, it is also completely freeware, no need to spend money to go out of Ceres :-)http://orbit.medphys.ucl.ac.uk/A.
March 9, 201214 yr Orbiter is a fantastic program..... the learning curve is very very steep... it IS practically rocket science..... but damn fun!! Nothing like zipping around the Solar System in a DGIV or the Millenium Falcon... :D
March 15, 201214 yr Author All I did was take the most popular DLC add-ons for FSX and renamed them for Flight using roughly the same price they currently sell for. So I don't think it is unrealistic.
March 15, 201214 yr DLC wish list and what I'd pay for it:Microsoft Flight: Navigation (activates all navigation equipment in the game, including auto-pilots and has a flight planner) $39.00 Microsoft Flight: Traffic (AI flight traffic individual modules for purchase for GA, Business Jets, Helicopters, Real World Airlines, and Military) $89.00 for the bundle Microsoft Flight: Advanced Weather (includes real world weather, weather reports, customization and upgraded weather graphics, bacially Active Sky) $54.00 Microsoft Flight: ATC (includes ATC covering VFR and IFR) $120 (if they do an absolutely great job with it) Microsoft Flight: Advanced Textures (includes upgraded buildings and more variety of buildings and improved building and city lights at night). $49 per major region (i.e. USA) Microsoft Flight: Roads (includes AI road/railway traffic, real world road and railway placement and improved night lighting for roads/railways). $39 per major region (i.e. USA) Microsoft Flight: Universe (includes all of the above packages) $349.00 (a $50 dollar discount on buying it individually) Of couse before I purchased the above, I would want to first see continued DLC GA aircraft, business and commercial jets and the release of major geographic regions around the globe and eventual support for VATSIM/integration with ATC programs. IMHO, I think you're willing to pay quite a lot for what you're asking. At those prices I would have to forego most of it. It would seem MS has a plan to appeal to a much wider audience, and I think their DLC prices will reflect that.And personally, I think some things like: Advanced textures, Roads, ATC, AI traffic, more functional Nav equipment... may come as free updates in time, and will be separate from DLC. To me, seems like too much money grabbing for every little detail.
March 15, 201214 yr I want to buy only Serbia scenery with every tree and house in right position, detailed airports, mesh, landclass... and Utva-75 or lasta aircrafts with real flight model, systems, and so. I'd rather pay for quality addons than have free or cheap addons that are functionally lacking.
March 15, 201214 yr I think that it is safe to say that until more users are actively flying in Microsoft Flight, the amount of DLC will slowly trickle out. It is a great piece of flight simulating experience and I have to say that I haven't touched FSX in some time now. However, there are limited number of pilots using this sim at the moment and I expect aircraft DLC before there are many other regions (excluding proposed Alaska). Just my two cents. Living in DC I would like to see Washington DC DLC as well. :Money Eyes: "Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it."
March 15, 201214 yr You've saved me a ton of money. There's only one thing on that list I'd buy. :DHook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
March 15, 201214 yr Journey to Indiana or Journey to Iowalol. wonder whether they charge also 20 bucks for journey to rhode island ;-) Phil Leaven i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"

Assuming it has not been done before, how about creating a poll from your list ?May be for both, FSX and Flight !
March 17, 201214 yr Living in DC I would like to see Washington DC DLC as well. :Money Eyes:This is the same reason someone would pay for 'Journey to Indiana or Journey to Iowa'Regards.Ernie.
