How to "start" FS2Crew when not running Pre-flight

Featured Replies

One thing I really never understood perfectly is how to correctly start the interaction with your FO if you decide not to press the 'Run PF' button. Should I manually advance FS2Crew to 'Before.Start Proc'?Read in another thread there are some video tutorials coming, will be great and hopefully they will show you both when opting to run the PF but also when you skip PF.

It automatically starts in "PREFLIGHT" when you click the clickspot. You don't have to manually advance anything.

If that's where you want to start,..then yes, just be sure to announce "before start procedure" and that's what the F/O will do and off you go,..

That's correct... FS2Crew is basically "started" when you load the Main Panel.Running the Pre-Flight events section is just an option. This is a difference from the older FS2Crew's.So to start in Takeoff, for example, you'd just forward the Mode to Takeoff and speak "Takeoff".That's it.You can even start in the Approach phase doing the same thing. No need press "Run PF Events".Cheers,
