March 19, 201214 yr Moderator Conn 650... I have one of those! I've often wondered if it could be modified to run through a good computer sythesizer. Thanks for the info and pic.Larry, the hardware I used is no longer available unfortunately. Fortunately I was able to find the controllers I needed via eBay auctions. The computers used will eventually have to be replaced of course. I was most concerned when SoundBlaster didn't update their cards to work with PCIe slots, so was delighted to discover that there's a software solution that works even better as it will even work quite well with integrated on-board sound found on modern MBs!http://synthfont.com/http://www.hauptwerk.../midi-hardware/Between SynthFont and Hauptwerk I now have an elegant and comprehensive way to emulate any organ in the world for which I have a SoundFont and emulate their tabulature control.I was fortunate to have the 650 donated to me by a friend who owns the Allen Organ distributorship in Chicago several years ago. It was a "trade-in" for a new Allen a church in Michigan City bought. All I had to pay was a $200 delivery charge. Fr.
