March 14, 201214 yr After reading the topic, one thing was not quite clear to me. If you set the 2D cockpit view as default to fix the bugs reported. Do you then switch to the VC and everything will work? or will you need to use 2D only. Sorry if I am being dense here.Thanks Phill Dant
March 14, 201214 yr Commercial Member Hi Phill,Of course you can use the VC after loading the 2D.Here's the story:Some users have reported they solved some weird issues by starting in the 2D cockpit.Others users have said everything works fine if they start the VC.So go figure...Codewise, with FS2Crew you should be able to start in the 2D or VC with no problems, but computers don't all behave the same way, so I suggest starting in the 2D to be safe.The latest theory to explain some weird issues users have is that they are using a non-PMDG endorsed liveries, such as the "Bandit" one, that may somehow be causing problems for the NGX.One user said using the PMDG House Livery solved his issues, but if he reverted back to his "Bandit" livery, his problems came back.We'll see if that theory has legs.
