Hmm, I got exactly the same so ditched it. I use Shade anyway and that gives a nice effect if you get the right theme.

Yeah, I have had the black screen, and even worse, a CTD, with ENB series ever since I adopted Win7-64 as my OS. I have given up on using it a long time back, but I find the newer Shade program is a decent substitute, without any frame loss or instability on my system.

I think success with ENB is largely system dependent, I've had problems in the past but works fine now on my current system. If you Google FSX shade you will get there website.I have used it but you will get better info from them.also you can see some screenshots to give you a better idea.

also it's cheap i think.so you can't go wrong.
