April 3, 201214 yr Moderator Nice, very Nice! How did you get rid of the awful shimmer this scenery is plagued by? LOL, when I bought that scenery it shimmered more than a Christmas tree with blazing lights and tinsle. Tip: TO get rig of the shimmering, besides running super high levels of AA, either download the NiceX mipmap tool at Aerosoft and run it, or get a texture tool like DXTBmp or DDS Converter 2 and add mip maps to all the textures. I opted for the later because I fixed it myself before they released the mipping tool, however even running the mipping tool doesn't fix all the shimmers. I ended up mipping all the ground textures as well as all the terminals/buildings and other scenery objects. I actually ended up converting a lot of the DXT5 textures down to DXT1 and increase peformance from a steady 15 to 20 FPS in the LDS 767 to aroung 25 to 30 FPS after doing the conversions. The scenery is very good with all the updates installed. Also run the scenery in Dx9 instead of Dx10. Aaron G. PMDG Boeing 737NGX Captain
