April 6, 201214 yr Mitch, what can I say after reading your informative and enthusiastic response. I certainly appreciate all your time in answering my questions and to show your love for FSX and the Orbx scenery. I feel likewise even if my system is a cut below yours. However, I am able to run most everything at near max with the exception of water and autogen. I always get double digit FPS depending on the aircraft and weather settings (Rex extreme). I did pick up 7S3 yesterday and PAKT today. I have had no problems with PAKT once I figured out the slope and elevations. It shocked me at first. This is a great addition. Since Orbx is giving us a month to take advantage of the sale I will probably buy several more. Maybe one each day in order to check it out and not get overwhelmed with all of the new places at one time. Need to make sure I install all the updates after purchase to make start ups, installation etc. go well. So far I have had no problems in any of their sceneries after the patches. Yes, 3w5 is very good. Also KORS is a nice place to visit. Of course you really can't just talk about one or two since they are all good. I have all of the NABlue areas just waiting for some sceneries outside of NABpnw. Tomorrow I will probably pick up either 2WA1 and/or 1WA6. Probably by the end of the month I may have all of them. Oh, since I lived in Germany many years ago I picked up on a 25% discount Paris-Orly by Aerosoft. Not bad if you fly the Big Boys every now and then and take a trip across the pond. Many thanks Mitch, now go enjoy your flying Carl Carl PC AMD Ryzen R7-5700G (8-Core) processor), AMD Radeon RX 6600 Graphics 8GB/ 2TB HD + 500GB SSD, 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM, Win11 _____________________________________________________________________________________

Many thanks Mitch, now go enjoy your flying Carl -------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Carl! I just paused a flight out of 'Ketch'....and if you can..the VFR is the best at 16:50 E.S.T. Carl...you'd be amazed at what FPS 'tolerance' you can get used to. My suggestion, is try out water and full-autogen no matter what FPS you find along the flight. Orbx cries out for those two at full open. For instance, today with the bright sunshine at Ketch.....the water below me at 8,000 feet is just sparkling upon the wave tops like diamonds! The reflections of the mountains and shade into the fiord's is something to experience. Carl....in a word...I no longer with Orbx/FSX-full bore, have to convince myself that I am not flying over the real deal. So for myself at least...as regards flight simulation...I have arrived at the point in time at the pinnacle. Thank gawd...I don't have to pay for the plane and the fuel load....(smile). Enjoy....but again....suspend your normal FPS tolerance threshold...and fly for a week..a full week...at FSX-Full Bore. Come back and then let me know if you have set a new tolerance level as regards the extreme pay-out in visual 'real life' output. I'd be interested to know....and thanks for the recommendation as per other software. Cheers, Mitch

April 8, 201214 yr Hi Manny, Sorry you are having problems on your download. Not sure I can help but I have had a problem downloading if my Norton's Anti software is active. Maybe disable your virus-software for 15 minutes or so and give it a try.
