April 2, 201214 yr Ok, I just flew my first job with the new update and I think I noticed a stealth change... I have the Destination Marker turned off, so when I land I'm used to having to taxi around the ramp a bit trying to find the unmarked "correct" parking spot to use (or just hit "N" after giving up in frustration). This time, as soon as the aircraft entered the ramp area, I got a prompt to "park the aircraft." I drove all around the ramp to every parking spot and the prompt never changed. I finally stopped the aircraft and got the prompt to shut down. I'm about to try another couple of jobs to see if they're all like that now. Has anyone else noticed this?
April 2, 201214 yr That would be cool. I'd love to actually be able to drive to the right part of the ramp to drop off my passengers instead of being forced to park in a random tie-down spot at the end of the field!
April 2, 201214 yr I need to try this myself. www.stratoart.com Fine Art by Dale Jackson "Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings..." High Flight by John Gillespie Magee, Jr.
April 2, 201214 yr Author Hmmm... Maybe not. I just flew another one and drove all around the ramps until I found the one valid parking spot. Then I taxied around some more and the "Park the plane" dialog never went away. I guess I just got lucky and the "right spot" just happened to be right at my point of entry onto the parking ramp last time. I never tried moving off the right spot after the "park" dialog appeared before, so I guess it's always been like that. Oh, well.
