After reading the earlier post re GMap I decided to give it a go................After starting flight after the map page..(ie flying as instructed).... I open GMap......a dialogue box appears "Connecting to MS Flight.....after about 10 seconds another dialogue box appears...."Unable to connect to MS Flight"....I am running in window mode............anyone had the same problem if so any solutions please.......Regards to all......Tarsky

For the last 2 or 3 days when I select the Aerocache I get the message "Aerocache of the day not available " anyone else got this problem.

Anyone interested in flying over the oil field rigs.....They can be located as follows.......Take off from Kenai Muni ( runway L1) and fly a heading of 300 degrees this will take you to the beginning of the oil field......I think there are about 10 rigs located there.....I had some great fun trying to land the Cub there....without success...LOL

Yeah all OK now .........as you said it must have been a Microsoft server problem because I also couldn't access the Microsoftflight.com website during that time.

I have been trying several times to get Flight to show my aerocache list but just cannot connect to Flight in game anyone else got this problem.....game running OK but no connection shown.

I have noticed over the past week or so that the daily aerocaches are repeats of earlier ones and today the highway cache I got weeks ago.....I thought that the repeated caches were over in May.....obviously not !!!

Did a recon flight round Niihau and found a small village roughly midway along the Northwest coast,only a few buildings but certainly inhabited.....must be a tranquil life there........no airstrip though....but I landed quite close by in a Stearman and wandered amongst the houses.

Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas X.......A great stick combo.......Very precise and smooth.....I use it with the seperated stick and throttle mode....It was only about 30 quid when I bought it from Amazon.....Not sure of the current price though........Happy flying.

Mirtma......Same here......I waited til 3pm +1 hour was up and went for the aerocache.... got same message as you......I checked to make sure I was connected and all was OK.....looks like the new aerocache format has not been enabled yet.

No new aerocache showing today......just all the old ones that I have gained.......all thats showing are aerocaches collected...so at the moment there is no aerocache hunt is available...!!!!!! Ooooops...Should have read MSFlight news......the old aerocache is available AM and the new one available PM......please ignore my previous incorrect post.

Not sure whats going on here......I browsed and selected the screenshot of the cockpit, clicked open to add attachment,it runs for a few seconds and then a message is displayed "this type of file cannot be used".........help please.

Sorry OMG but if you use the ctrl+q and ctrl+e keys when looking back at the aircraft in the panoramic view you can get quite a good cockpit view .....it takes a while to do but I always set it up for cockpit view when flying the Zero or P51 .

Here is my Zero cockpit Cant make out why the image is not showing !!! !!.....must be doing something wrong....help

Sorry about that Robo but I was viewing the wrong C:/users/John/.....etc file....... a complete cock up on my part ....I changed the zero to 1 and its fine .......thanks for your advice.

Hello Roboray......Having a prob with cfg files......using notepad to edit every time I try to open the flight.cfg file it displays all the FSX files,not sure whats happening have you had the same problem at all ?

A good idea this but I think it would be much better if MS provided keys to toggle on/off these messages and also the same for the destination markers which I find really distracting...... especially during night approaches and landings........the marker is right in vision of the landing area and spoils the excellent runway approach graphics.

This morning I was doing some VOR-DME flying and was heading to the Kona VOR-DME (115.7)...... a few miles south of the VOR I noticed an airstrip.......I landed and found that the airstrip was not listed or shown on the map......anybody know the name of this airstrip ???

How did you manage to turn off the destination marker...........I cant find that option anywhere.

Logged in this morning and was presented with a Flight update........I thought cockpits.......I was mistaken it was some sort of redeem code access............updated anyway and couldn't see anything else new.

No cockpit again.......no buy.......nuff said.

I have been a hardcore simmer for years and I really like Flight.......if your'e not gonna play it dont moan about it.....!!!!!!!

The trim buttons on the T Flight joystick are button 3 and button 4 by default and definately not an axis.

Hooked up my old MS joystick just to see what would occur and lo and behold both the stick trim buttons worked perfectly........it must be something to do with the "Thrustmaster T Flight" stick,,,but as I said in my earlier post it works perfectly for trim in all other flight sims...this is now bugging me........!!!!!!!
