April 3, 201214 yr Hello friends, As title say, i'm looking for a working config of SW 3D Lights for this bird. Tried a few i found through google but they don't fit. Here's an example [LIGHTS] //Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing light.0 = 2, -100.226, 0.090, 5.982, fx_shockwave_strobe_l_3 , //Aft Strobe light.1 = 1, -40.044, 0.000, 8.328, fx_shockwave_beaconh , //Top Beacon light.2 = 1, -47.352, 0.000, -5.630, fx_shockwave_beaconb , //Bottom Beacon light.3 = 3, -63.529, -55.655, 1.839, fx_shockwave_navred , //Left Nav Light red light.4 = 2, -64.423, -55.982, 1.832, fx_shockwave_strobe_l_2 , //Left Strobe light.5 = 3, -63.457, 55.560, 1.865, fx_shockwave_navgre , //Right Nav Light green light.6 = 2, -64.387, 55.982, 1.814, fx_shockwave_strobe_l_2 , //Right Strobe light.7 = 3, -69.411, -56.550, 1.500, fx_navwhi_pmdg, //Left Position Light light.8 = 3, -69.411, 56.550, 1.500, fx_navwhi_pmdg, //Right Position Light light.9 = 3, -100.226, -0.090, 5.982, fx_navwhi_pmdg, //Aft Position Light light.10 = 5, -30.352, 12.000, -2.000, fx_pmdgland, // Landing Light Illumination Engine Right light.11 = 5, -30.352, -12.000, -2.000, fx_pmdgland, // Landing Light Illunination Engine Left light.12 = 6, -14.000, 0.000, -7.750, fx_shockwave_landing_light_small_xenon,// Taxi Light Nose Gear light.13 = 8, -51.000, -40.000, 0.000, fx_pmdgwinglight light.14 = 8, -51.000, 40.000, 0.000, fx_pmdgwinglight light.15 = 5, -36.000, 6.750, -2.000, fx_Shockwave_landing_light_narrow,// Right Inboard Landing Light light.16 = 5, -36.000, -6.750, -2.000, fx_Shockwave_landing_light_narrow,// Left Inboard Landing Light light.17 = 5, -36.500, -2.500, -6.000, fx_Shockwave_landing_light,// Bottom Left Landing Light light.18 = 5, -36.500, 2.500, -6.000, fx_Shockwave_landing_light,// Bottom Right Landing Light Looks great but it seems to be made for a longer plane as wings lights appear in the air near the tail :Hypnotized: Thanks in advance. --------------------- Gabriel Diaz
April 4, 201214 yr You can check the Shockwave community here: http://www.shockwaveproductions.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=10187&sid=3a41f8a6f85665f20df311f7d63ba7ca Or, you can adjust the coordinates yourself, which is what I do. Art
April 4, 201214 yr I believe 737NG from PMDG already have custom light build into model. Do not own this and cannot confirm, but please check, if You have some entries in aircraft.cfg under [LIGHTS] section Bartłomiej Ender
April 4, 201214 yr I don't think adding wing lights is a good idea on any plane that has built in model lights on a flexing wing.

(This has been already discussed in other thread) :Nerd: --------------------- Gabriel Diaz
April 4, 201214 yr Commercial Member Can't help ya with the 600 settings as I do not own PMDG but as for flexing wings I create two sets of lights, one for when I am taxing and a 2nd set for after take off. Works pretty good. Intel i9-12900KF, Asus Prime Z690-A MB, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, (3) SK hynix M.2 SSD (2TB ea.), 16TB Seagate HDD, Gigabyte GeForce 5080 RTX, Corsair iCUE H70i AIO Liquid Cooler, UHD/Blu-ray Player/Burner (still have lots of CDs, DVDs!) Windows 10, (hold off for now on Win11), EVGA 1300W PSUNetgear 1Gbps modem & router, (3) 27" 1440 wrap-around displaysFull array of Bravo, Saitek and GoFlight hardware for the cockpit. Varjo and HP VR headsets for mixed reality.
April 4, 201214 yr I don't think adding wing lights is a good idea on any plane that has built in model lights on a flexing wing. A flexing wing will have little effect on the landing lights and rotating beacons, which are the lights most benefited by Shockwave lights. As I said before, place the Shockwave lights in the config file yourself. Then you can share it with the rest of the PMDG community. Art

Not trying to sound rude but I wouldn't be asking here If i had the knowledge or the time for learn how to do it. --------------------- Gabriel Diaz
April 4, 201214 yr Not trying to sound rude but I wouldn't be asking here If i had the knowledge or the time for learn how to do it. Sorry. The original post through me off since you included the cfg file light listing, and since anyone who purchases Shockwave Lights receives instructions on making the modifications yourself. I'm sure the lights on PMDG aircraft are outstanding anyway without Shockwave modifications. Art
April 4, 201214 yr A flexing wing will have little effect on the landing lights and rotating beacons, Can't say I really get your point as I was only talking about wing light's like nav and strobes.
April 4, 201214 yr Can't say I really get your point as I was only talking about wing light's like nav and strobes. Yeah, your post was clear. My point was that the wing lights are not important to the issue being discussed since Shockwave's greatest effect is not to those lights. Art
April 4, 201214 yr The the Bleedair ones. http://www.bleedair.de/3d-light-pmdg-b744.html Cheers; Solren 401 Sqn RCAF "Rams" (ret.)
April 4, 201214 yr Author The the Bleedair ones. http://www.bleedair....-pmdg-b744.html Looks nice, but is not for the plane I'm looking for. Thank you anyway. --------------------- Gabriel Diaz
