April 13, 200422 yr The price of the FeelThere CRJ is not $34.95, it is now $29.95. Ark -------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5ghz / 32GB G.Skill (Samsung B) / Aorus Master Mobo / EVGA GTX 2080Ti FTW 3
April 13, 200422 yr I think The CRJ is nice, however, I'm let down a bit. The manuals are very limited. The cockpit is too noisy, EX: Packs, fans ( Have not figured out yet how to turn the noise level down. ) The PMDG allows you to select how loud certain aspects are in the cockpit. The VC makes the guages hard to see, unless you move forward a bit.I do have more reading to do, but it doesn't seem there are to many options to play with. The texures render very slow when changing views, any suggestions? Considering I have a ASUS A7N8x Deluxe MB /AMD 2.8 ghz XP Barton processor / 1 gig 3200 dual channel ddr ram / Radeon 9800pro on WIN 2000 pro. I may have issues with the flight sim in general, which I am almost ready to give up on. I just got my crashing problem to stop. ( Thank you all for your help a million times over!!!) I can't seem to enjoy the CRJ like I had hoped.(YET) Again, I am not placing judgement on this product. This was just my first impression. I know I must read the manuals, and understand the workings of this aircraft. I just wish I could get the flight sim to perform better. I am looking to upgrade my power supply from a 300 watt to a 550 watt today, maybe this is part of my performance problem. One more thing: This forum and all who are part of it, are great people. If only the world had more of you, it would be a better place. Best regards, J. Moss
April 13, 200422 yr I have the same motherboard as you except mine is the just a A7N8X-X and not the deluxe. If you do not have the lastest nforce drivers (3.13) I highly suggest get them as they solve alot of problems. Also I might suggest that you get the lastest bios. There was a recent bios update for the deluxe model of the A7N8X deluxe. If your ram is corsair make sure that your motherboard ram settings are correct for that ram. For example I have to set my ram voltage to 2.7 for corsair ram and by default it's 2.5 . My games would crash if i did not set my ram voltage to 2.7. This is the settings I got directly of the corsair website. I hope some of this helps with your FS problems
April 13, 200422 yr "The texures render very slow when changing views, any suggestions?"I assume you mean the VC textures, for some reason, maybe to increase the VC texture quality, these have been made as 32 bit textures, you can reduce them down to DXT textures using DXTBMP, this will speed up the VC texture loadingDan.
April 13, 200422 yr Hey guys, As far as my bios goes it is the 1006. What I meant by textures loading slowly was.. when I cycle through all the views: cockpit, tower, spot etc... as well a moving my hat switch to look left or right while in the cockpit. I can't figure this out why I have such crappy performance. J. Moss
