34.95 for what exactly? All the CRJ's?

  • Moderator

I'll probably go for it even though it's a rather steep price to say the least, but having been through comair's academy (and the CRJ is the only reason I went there ;-) ) I just can't say no ;-)I also hope they will offer some kind of special to get the 700 and 900's as well. I guess even though it sounds like a high price if the product has an accurate FDE, functional panel and FMS this might be the price range that we'll have to get used to to get a "whole package".However I'll buy, wait, see and fly it, to form an objective opinion. Can't wait.....Cheers,Petehttp://members.aol.com/pzsoulman/myhomepage/logo.gifAthlonXP2000,AbitKX7-333(latest4in1),512MB/2700SDRAM,WinXP,DirectX9.0b,GeforceFX5700(128MB)(Det.53.03),5ChannelPCI sound (latest drivers)

Wait. It's 34.95 for just the CRJ-200, and more for the 700 and 900 when they are done?

Too much money guys. Good luck.Eric

I been reading the feelthere forums, and my understanding is that it's $34.95 for the CRJ-200 and a seperate price for the 700 and 900.I was going to buy the planes the day it came out, but at $34.95 for just the 200 and extra for the 700 and 900 I just don't know. Also according to the Feelthere forums they don't have control over the price, which is wierd since they made the plane. They should have control over the price and not Wilco.

Well I guess Wilcopub took the acquisition of FeelThere...

>Well I guess Wilcopub took the acquisition of FeelThere...No...FeelThere DOES NOT decide the cost of their add-ons. Business does not work like that. Developers don't decide the price of an item, the producer does, IIRC.When LOMAC was released did Dynamix decide the cost? No, Ubisoft did. When IL-2 was released did Maddox 1C decide the cost? No, Ubisoft did.;)

Well the problem is that I can get LOMAC for the same price as this single CRJ variant.I can get IL2 Forgotten Battles for a little less.

Unless this thing is of equal realism to the PMDG 737 (i.e. full FMC capability), it seems a bit pricey. I am now very selective with payware due the unfortunate trend of high priced addons/dissappointing quality.:-roll

I agree with Flic1. Can't see anything coming close to PMDG for quality and support at that price. I really love the CRJ and was looking forward to this product, but at this price I'm happy with my Posky CRJ 200. Works fine for me!

Well the products that are made by Dreamfleet are published by Flight One software. As for the others, yes they publish their addons themselves. I agree Wilco has a way to high price for this one Feelthere should have searched for another publisher or just publish it themself. http://www.flightfactory-simulations.com/h...B_testpilot.jpg[a href=http://www.ifdg.net]--iFDG website!--[/a]

Of course, some sort of freeware>manual would go a long way toward helping people make up their>minds........>>>>The cases you use as examples are different and cannot be applied here.1. Striaght from the Dreamfleet Website:"Unlike some development groups, we do not stand alone, and instead work closely with the publisher of our products, Flight One Software. Together DreamFleet and Flight One form a team of their own, in an effort to bring the best possible products to the flight simulation entertainment market."Their team is comprised of both Dreamfleet and Flight1. ;)2. PMDG releases their own products.3. Simflyers releases their own products, Simmarket only handles the processing of the orders.I agree with you about how I wish it was handled like the ERJ but none of us know the circumstances of the decision to go with Wilco so it would be unfair to FeelThere to pass judgement on that decision. :)

Regardless of who acutally set the price, it is quite high. Especially from a company's first full package release. I think the high price will turn people off and encourage more piracy over the filing sharing programs.
