Hi guys,

Would be super if anyone could help me fix this issue.

When I make a new camera from the VC. I get a very juddery camera, It bounces up and down very quickly even when on the ground. Like a vibration.

Can anyone replicate this~? I have reinstalled EZDOK restoring the default and back to ezdok cameras

Alex, try fiddling in the default camera settings in the advanced studio options. I have had this. It seems to be loading very high 'wobbly' settings. Lowering some dials helped with me

There is a good youtube video on how to reduce the shaking and pilot head movements.

I think there are three in this series;

I also experience problems with EZDok, but of a different nature. I did set up my cameras for the NGX, but their position is kind of drifting... For example, one of my cameras is a nice and detailed view on the left CDU. But I often find the camera off position, with part of the CDU outside of the screen, and I have to readjust from time to time. Kind of annoying. But it has nothing to do with the NGX, I know. I just mentioned this, maybe someone knows how to fix it.

Hi jake,

The thing is, its not the general flying 'wobble' that is the problem. Its a high vibration when just selecting any camera in the VC window below the pre set ones [for example]

Read above, thank you for your reply!

Alex, have you got any other saved can sets you could load into NGX just to see? Also, you could try deleting the ezdok lines from the cfg file, run the EZCA config tool to re-enter them and then importing a previously working set? I'll send you my saved ones later if you like. Out with loads of kids at the science museum atm. eek!

Is that from the pmdg ngx configs? I may try and make a fresh install.

p.s I am using AOA [angle of attack] NGX files, where the headmovment and turbulence effects are altered. Does this effect every aircraft in the sim?

Hi Alex,

Yes. From the aircraft.cfg file. It will look like this:

[CameraDefinition.201]

Title=EZdok Aircraft Universal camera

Guid={D8D67955-2E9B-4e75-9D8B-8EFFBBFAC65B}

Description=Universal camera for EZdok cam utility

Origin=Center

SnapPbhAdjust=Swivel

SnapPbhReturn=FALSE

PanPbhAdjust=Swivel

PanPbhReturn=FALSE

Track=None

ShowAxis=FALSE

AllowZoom=TRUE

InitialZoom=0.40

ShowWeather=Yes

InitialXyz=0,0,0

InitialPbh=10, 0, 0

XyzAdjust=TRUE

Category=Aircraft

MomentumEffect=FALSE

ClipMode=Minimum

HotKeySelect=4

Remove it. Re-run the config tool. Import the AOA definitions again.

I have an "amended" version of their angles; I didn't like a lot of them, and found them needless. Also didn't actually like the changes to the studio settings, so I just edited them.

The studio can be a beatch to use as I'm sure you've found out. Once you know what it all does, it can make some excellent views - like this: sendfile.php?Location=AVSIM&Proto=file&ImageID=303111

Spotcam: http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=166798 (I didn't make that camera; the guy who wrote EZDOK did)

If you still need help, Alex, PM me and I'll give you a dropbox locationn and you can try my edited set. You only really need five or six views in the cockpit (unless you like getting really up-close and personal)
