April 10, 201214 yr Not sure if this is right... i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
April 11, 201214 yr I think that was caused by an advertisement for the mentioned website. It's not avsim itself causing the problem. Still... -Bram Osterhout
April 11, 201214 yr I'm getting the same error with Chrome too. Are you sure it's an ad? I don't think ads appear in the forum threads... Danny
April 11, 201214 yr Author I do have Ad-Block but I have whitelisted AVSIM. i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
April 11, 201214 yr It's not an ad, actually, it's an image of a product from their website, so adblock plus won't block it. That's due to the Next Level Simulations website apparently containing a link to malware. As I mentioned in that thread, looking at the source for their page shows a script with what looks like jumbled text, but is really a hidden link. I would imagine they've probably been hacked. The image itself doesn't pose a threat, however, just the website itself. Jonathan Monreal Visit A Flightsim Blog

April 11, 201214 yr This is an image of the report I just got by going to their site. From this moment forward, that URL and all sub URL's will be blocked from being put in AVSIM forums.

April 11, 201214 yr Thanks Tom! When you get a Malware alert on AVSIM, it is the result of someone doing something stupid, like linking to an image on another site. That is strictly against our policies. A person can link to an image on their site, or photo bucket, etc.

I see you did that with your screenshot above. i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
April 11, 201214 yr How do you upload a picture to post on your thread then? I see you did that with your screenshot above. There are two steps to doing that if you are using a QUOTE response. When you select quote you will see this in most forums (not all): Click on the "More Reply Options" link. That will give you a expanded editor that at the bottom left will show you this: Click on the "Attach Image" link which will allow you to upload an image from your hard drive, and then select "add to post". When you do that, make sure BEFORE you add the image to a post, that you know where your cursor is. Where ever your cursory is, is where the image will show up. That can lead to some very ugly posts.
