Could be a Corsair, but I still don't see anything like like that on the underside of a Corsair.

Things I operated to occupy my time back in the day! I guess I'm considered an old timer now haha:

Bell Super Cobra? Just a guess... Probably nothing nearly as exciting. EH-101 Merlin?

That's a good educated guess, since they would already have that modeled.

I am only afraid that if this is another war-bird it will be without cockpit.

I used to simply have great respect for the pilots of WWII... Now I'm in awe of what all they were able to accomplish in aircraft that didn't even have cockpits.

:LMAO:

Who needs cockpits..Modern planes don't/won't even have pilots..cockpits? Pah..they're for wimps

That was the advantage of flying a kamikaze mission in the A6M zero, it was possible to survive the massive collision and fireball when you weren't actually in the cockpit. Those Japanese were cunning devils.

Makes me smile when I see an anti-taildragger post! There's nothing I find more boring in real-life flying than tricycle-gear spam cans.

Got it! Just in the mids on the backside ...

Good find! Hope it will have a giant room cockpit Big%20Grin.gif

A twin engine Beech 18 would be sweet!

Agreed

"Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it."

I dunno, I looked over the wrecked Beech 18's at Dillingham and didn't see anything like that picture. It seems likely that the wreck models would have been derived from the same model as the flyable DLC version, if it had existed.

I'm pretty sure it is a fully functioning PMDG 747, but I could be wrong.
