If nothing else, it may reiterate to Microsoft what made the old Flight Simulator so popular, that there were countless additional items available for use. Despite their attempts to keep Flight locked, someone has found a loophole, and there will probably be more to come.

There's no "loophole" required, for pity's sake! Understand please that this is nothing more-nor-less than a collection of saved flight files! You can create and share those yourself quite easily...

 

...as for the "charts" included, they are freely downloadable from many sources on the web.

And they might even be public domain, with no restrictions on redistribution, either free or for pay.

 

Runwayfinder.com got shut down for a similar issue, although it had to do with copyright of programs as far as I know. RIP Runwayfinder.
