Just an opinion, but really, so what? If somebody wants to package all this and try to sell it, good for him, or rather good luck! If others don't want to buy the pack, good for them. If Avsim wants to include all news about our hobby on the Front Page, very good for them.

Does it really matter? The information is now out that all those charts are available for free to everybody. Is it worth getting upset? Is it really that important?

 

In this case I agree with you. I am not interested in that type of product, but I sincerely don't see the scandal. It doesn't seem a scam, but simply a not very interesting collection with a quite low price, as tons of others in the market. Why all this alarm?

The fact that this product has been released is news. It isn't the news editor's job to decide on the merits of a product or to suppress the facts.

LOL, I'm fairly sure they filter as well. But they provide lots of ammo for the Daily Show. In that respect, they can be entertaining.

I propose to make something for flight simulation as well. Something like a weekly column for rants on addons. Have to think more about this....(and get a good lawyer).

If you guys are advertising this package in exchange for revenue, you should be ashamed of yourselves. As should they for even trying to sell this crap in the first place. They? I'm sure it's just one guy, who put that package together from where he lives, in his mom's basement.

The bottom line is fellas, if someone produces something that is crap and it's legal, and people buy it, then more fool them. I think if you look around some of the online stores there are a host of 'crap' products, but they are continuing to be sold, presumably 'cos guys are buying them!
