April 13, 201214 yr Does MS flight support muliple monitors? And how is this done? Is it one view stretched across both monitors or 2 separate views (as in FSX)? Thanks Mike
April 13, 201214 yr I am using two monitors and I can confirm that the secondary monitor is blanked out when Flight is running in full-screen.
April 14, 201214 yr I am using two monitors and I can confirm that the secondary monitor is blanked out when Flight is running in full-screen. Hello, How do you activate the 2 monitors in Flight and window mode? Thanks in advance. April 14, 201214 yr Yes, I am flying just fine with 3. Fish-eye is bad at the sides, but a lot better than flying with just one monitor! In order to do it this way you need at least 2 video cards and go into surround mode (via nvidia).
April 14, 201214 yr I just took the plunge and ordered 2 more 3D 27" monitors. nVidia 3D surround here I come! Now I just have to wait impatiently until the monitors are delivered... I'm curious whether trackIR will be usable or helpful with such a setup (granted that's still an academic question regarding Flight). Anyone have a 3 monitor setup with FSX and also use trackIR?
April 14, 201214 yr You can also use dual or triple head 2 go. I use dualhead2go with no issues for full screen. Thanks Don Don Lillard
April 14, 201214 yr Anyone have a 3 monitor setup with FSX and also use trackIR? I've had TrackIR working with three monitors in FSX. You get your three monitors panning all right (with the Toggle link all views command), but you don't get all monitors to track lateral movement together - only the middle monitor. Mike Beckwith
April 14, 201214 yr Hello, How do you activate the 2 monitors in Flight and window mode? Thanks in advance. Hello Emile, I'm using one NVIDIA card to output to two monitors so I cannot push Flight to multiple screens. Take a look at http://forum.avsim.net/topic/366879-flight-with-nvidia-3d-surround/ if you are using AMD Eyefinity or NVIDIA Surround.
