April 15, 201214 yr After using MyTraffic pro for a while these are the first issues I have come across with this program. I am only really an active member over here at Avsim so that is why I am posting this here and not at a MyTraffic forum. The issue is with AI taxiing through me and each other and then all holding at the same position. The screenshot shows my PMDG 737 parked with another AI 737 who has parked in exactly the same place. Before I took ths shot there were 5+ aircraft all holding short of the runway in the same place as me which obviously puts a bit of a downer on the whole flight. The second issue is with AI spacing. The screenshot here shots the traffic being displayed on the NGX ND and as you can see all the traffic are grouped together in a not very realistic manner. Any help with either of these problems is very very much appreciated. Thanks Rich David Andrew - desert based - a330/350 rated.
April 15, 201214 yr Commercial Member Off the top of my head I would think it's an AFCAD issue. Check to make sure you only have one AFCAD for that airport. Intel i9-12900KF, Asus Prime Z690-A MB, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, (3) SK hynix M.2 SSD (2TB ea.), 16TB Seagate HDD, Gigabyte GeForce 5080 RTX, Corsair iCUE H70i AIO Liquid Cooler, UHD/Blu-ray Player/Burner (still have lots of CDs, DVDs!) Windows 10, (hold off for now on Win11), EVGA 1300W PSUNetgear 1Gbps modem & router, (3) 27" 1440 wrap-around displaysFull array of Bravo, Saitek and GoFlight hardware for the cockpit. Varjo and HP VR headsets for mixed reality.
April 15, 201214 yr Author I did think about that but made sure that the MyTraffic scenery folder (which contains thousands of afcads) was below the scenery folder for the add on airport used in these shots. Due to the airport having higher priority there shouldn't be an issue right? Thanks for the quick response. Rich David Andrew - desert based - a330/350 rated.
April 23, 201214 yr Author Another issue I just came across is this one which seems to be 10 multiple Air France 747's - weird problem. Any help? Rich David Andrew - desert based - a330/350 rated.
April 23, 201214 yr You need to delete the mytraffic afcad files for all the addon scenery with their own afcad files, higher priority does not fix the problem. For spacing, a program like ai separation or ai smooth will fix that, both available in the library.
April 23, 201214 yr Commercial Member Move your MyTraffic folder down in the scenery library right above Propeller Objects. Regards, Dave Opper HiFi Support Manager
April 23, 201214 yr Author Thanks for the swift replies Dave and Gear Up, I'll be sure to delete the extra AFCADS and try out ai smooth or separation and Move the MyTraffic folder down. Thanks for the help. Rich David Andrew - desert based - a330/350 rated.
April 23, 201214 yr Hi, I remember being told that if you restart your flight or regenerate the scenery (i.e. change the library or display settings), that the AI isn't reset, but it adds onto itself, so you'll get multiple AI ontop of each other. Of this, I'm not 100% sure, but someone might be able to verify this possibility. Also, you might want to try the aidupe_299774.zip utility in the library; I used it with some success, though it eliminated a bit too much AI for me (but I use Traffic X which certainly has recurring a/c registrations); it's a step in the right direction.
