April 21, 201214 yr Well this might not be a FS2CREW issue but i have had 2 flights now online on VATSIM with ASE,EFB,SB4 and offcause this brilliant piece of work but had 2 "lost" connections with the microphone meaning i had to disconnect SB4,FS2CREW and the microphone in windows and then re-enable these again . I suspect Simconnect to be involved as i also did lose my ASE connection on a remote PC. (close ASE program and started it up again do the trick) So is FS2CREW using Simconnect and why does this program sometimes set the microphone-level back to +10db (instead of 30 or 50db) Any ideers of overcoming these issues ? Thanks Michael Michael Moe
April 22, 201214 yr Are you saying that you are using the voice on the second computer through Simconnect? I was not aware that I could work that way. Mark CYYZ

Thanks Michael FS2Crew uses Simconnect to the ext that the PMDG SDK uses Simconnect. Resetting the mic level: I believe that happens in XP only. It's something the Microsoft Speech Recognition system does when loaded, not FS2Crew. Are you using a USB headset? They tend to work best. Best, B. No it most certainly also happens in Windows 7. Some people say it can have something to do with another program that uses the mic like for instance Skype, Messenger etc., but I do not have any of these program installed. And you should also make sure that you have a mark in 'Do nothing' in the picture beneath. I do have done all of these things and still my mic level is reset with every windows start. I do not say, that it has anything to do with Fs2Crew. Just that it's not a XP problem only. Kind regards Peter
