April 24, 201214 yr It's not the one that's in the NGX. It's like an updated one that's in the 747 with White Text! Mate you to be honest, once you get the hang of the FMC which is really easy you don't really need to buy anything. There's plenty of tutorials around, if you watched one for the 747 or 757 it'd be the same really as the 777. Or if you can wait until release I'll be doing a voice over in on my Youtube for the 777! - Luke Pabari

April 24, 201214 yr If you learn one FMC, I think you can use any FMC. For Boeing aircraft I will agree with you. I got the Wilco A320 Series and don't fly it much because after a year and a half, I still have trouble navigating the FMC and flying the plane. Maybe it's just me though. :unknw: John Guidry AMD Phenom™II X4 965 Black Edition Quad-Core Sapphire ATI 5870 1GB GDDR5
April 24, 201214 yr MD11 is very different also. More like the Airbus than Boeing. But yes by all means learn the Smiths Honeywell first! It will incompass many aircraft models. ArDee

Maybe it's just me though. :unknw: No I agree with you. I remember when I first fired up the Wilco A320 series and took a look at the systems. Having no previous experience with them, I was baffled when it came to programming routes etc. I got the hang of it after 10-20 flights and it become second nature. I do think Boeing aircraft are more "user" friendly when it comes to setting up the aircraft for a flight. The only thing I will say for the A320 series is that rest of the flight deck is a much simpler design in that respect. So both have their merits I guess, but I do favour Boeing aircraft for ease of use overall. Thanks Matthew T Gardiner
April 25, 201214 yr The only thing I will say for the A320 series is that rest of the flight deck is a much simpler design in that respect. I can see what you mean about the A320 having a some what simpler design than say the NGX. The NGX to me is fairly cluttered, the Overhead hasn't been updated on the 737 series I don't think, I believe they're all the same. The 777 people will be surprised, it's so easy to fly! Don't worry about turning packs on and off to start engines etc, it's going to be very simple and user friendly. I currently fly the LDS 767 and there is quite a few more procedures to start up the engines, where as the 777 you just complete the checklist and turn to start>fuel control switch to run with Oil Pressure! Simple. I'm use to Boeing and it's all I fly, I did try that Air Simmer A320 2 years back but I couldn't get the hang of it, if I studied it and tried it I probably could but Boeing has my vote any day! I know once we get the 777 every other Aircraft is being removed from my FSX ha. I'll definitely buy the 747 2.0 as I know a break once and a while from the 777 will be good but all I know is I'm flying that 777 until I pass out. Haha, yeah I'm excited! - Luke Pabari
April 25, 201214 yr Author I'll be doing a voice over in on my Youtube That would be sweet Luke well it would still be nice to have the book though. But if u can do a tutorial then i just might stick with that thats much cheaper thx guys.. Mattias Nordgren PRO-ATCX BETA TEAM
