    I got to go inside a brand new China Southern Cargo 777 a couple of weeks ago. The interior was so clean and massive!! But only 8 seats in the whole thing!

    I pulled off the runway and then set the brake and left. Didn't think I would be gone for an hour much less a couple of days. She's running now though!!

    Thought about that but couldn't remember the right buttons to press. I ended up using the slew mode to get up to altitude and then air flow to turn the generators in the engines until I had enough power to start the hydraulics. Landed on a high way where a passing motorist happened to have a GPU and Air Start Cart. After that, I called AAA on the sat phone and got some fuel, started up and left the traffic jam behind.

    I can't get to the GPU option through the FMC.

    So I left the NGX with low fuel on the ground and went on a trip for a couple of days. When I came home, I of course had run out of fuel and have a dead battery. Any one know how I can get ground power on to recharge the battery? Everything inside is completely useless. I cannot start the APU without battery power. A big part of me just wants to figure this out and not reload the airplane!! Thanks for all the help you can give!!

    Those are to open the engine cowling for maintenance or viewing pleasure of those awesome GE engines!! This was a brand new airplane by the way. There is a paint facility at my home airport and they apparently got a contract from Boeing. One has been showing up every so often for a little paint job.

    I recently have been involved in testing and implementing a series of new data management programs at work and have started to see just how much work goes into building programs and menus. I have spent a few hours code gazing with the IT guys and girls (Oh yes we have them!!) and am continuously amazed at the logic code and adaptive restrictions for certain menu items. I can only imagine what that looks like when tied into a 3D model. So once again, Thanks PMDG for building such awesome aircraft!!

    I know what you mean. I got the JustFlight P-38 and the A2A P-51 and love flying around by Map and compass work. Definitly makes you sit there and really fly the plane. Makes you appreciate a good trim system!!

    I never asked for a release date. I just asked for an update like some new pics or maybe a video they had lying around. We haven't heard much of anything since the initial announcement and was wondering if it had been shelved to work on the 777 or some other secret project or if it was still going ahead. There's my answer and I am good with it.

    For Boeing aircraft I will agree with you. I got the Wilco A320 Series and don't fly it much because after a year and a half, I still have trouble navigating the FMC and flying the plane. Maybe it's just me though. :unknw:

    My problem is not with the hydraulics. It is with the fact that the only way for me to restore oil levels is to load one of the default panel states, and lose all the time on the plane. I did try loading other aircraft and reloading FSX but still, I have low oil levels.

    Still with low oil levels. And yes I did save the maintenance before I reloaded.

    So my NGX with service based failures is also burning oil. The problem is that when I service the engine system, it does not refill the oil. I even tried servicing all systems and still no change to oil levels. Any suggestions??

    I came across a small visual glitch in the -800 on a long flight and thought I would share.

    While on the ground, when i make a turn, the camera seems to move as if its leaning to the outside of the turn. I wouldn't mind so much except it doesn't go back after the turn is complete. It does not do this in the air either. Any suggestions??
