April 28, 201214 yr I use iPad and FSKneeboard. Works great for me. I just wish it had access to Canadian and European charts. I spent a rainy cold weekend downloading all the IAP'S, Sectionals and IFR HI/LO as well as all terminal charts right to FSKNEEBOARD so they load faster. And can be viewed with out a wifi connection. As for Canadian charts, I just buy the CAP IAP'S and IFR HI charts from Aviation World (YVR) and western Canadian sectionals. As cool as the iPad is, I still love folding out a paper map on the table for NGX flight planning or paper sectionals for GA VFR flights.
