April 27, 201214 yr Ok, if you fly the NGX a lot, then read this. I always thought that to have an EFB style thing for yourself you'd need an iPad or similar tablet. Well guess what? A smart phone works just as perfect! I didn't know about that until like right now... I'm now using AirCharts, and I can finally have everything I need (Approach maps, etc.) without having to print them. This reduces this pile: (I have ≈ 43 airport diagrams printed, but approach/departure stuff I used on the computer) To one small device. So, if you have a smart phone (Android, iPhone, etc.) then do what I'm doing. i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
April 27, 201214 yr Good Idea, I put charts on my phone, certainly a lot easier than printing, then looking bla bla
April 27, 201214 yr Author Good Idea, I put charts on my phone, certainly a lot easier than printing, then looking bla bla Well, it is a little hard to read, but, on my phone, I lock the accelerometer then flip it sideways. It makes it much better. i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB

April 27, 201214 yr IPad + Jepp Mobile TC :Nerd: I've had the trial since I got my iPad, but Jeppesen is very expensive for private use. But imo it's by far the best! Thomas Danielsen - FAA Commercial Pilot, JAA ATPL
